Time of the Awakening teaser

Supernatural forces threaten the nation, Embrilliance.  Men behave as if possessed – throwing themselves from towers, wading into raging currents, braving white-hot forges or burying themselves alive.  Creatures long since forgotten stir in the Infested Bogs.  The Walking Dead, once mindless automatons, now show signs of intelligence and organization.  A demon rampages unchecked across the land.  The military marches into a trap laid by a dark army amassed at the border.

One man stands in the way of annihilation; Krylor Hendsdred.

Hero.

Prophet.

King.

Though Krylor is gifted with prophetic insight, the villain Neiloph Ebonire holds him in check as he orchestrates the evils plaguing Embrilliance.  Neiloph can read the King’s thoughts, can counter his every move and thwart any plan.  Any plan except…

  1. So intriguing! And the art work is absolutely amazing!! You are an extremely talented man!!! I abolutely see a future with this series!

  2. This book is engaging, easy to read, and impossible to put down. I ended up calling off work to finish the book, and completely felt justified doing so. There is a real sense of a world waiting to be explored, waiting to be discovered, and that huge things are in play the entire time you’re reading. The whole time you’re reading, you are relating to the main character, and cheering for him, only to have the bottom drop out of your stomach as you read the twist, which of course, I will not spoil here.

Assassins, creatures of earth and magic, darkness, Kings, Generals, loyalty, honor, and war. Everything a truly epic story should have, this book starts with, and I simply cannot wait for the rest of them to come out.

I think the future is going to be huge with this author.

  3. Wow such a teaser not enough to tease!!!! Or Almost enough! I love that you are completed with phase I completion and marketing. I will help, tell me who I can market/send/ etc. Have some friends that are avid readers…. Appropriate to send links? not sure how e-reading works??? Also on computer format? I like physical books. Cannot sit in my uncomfortable computer chair and curl up while everyone else does other things, in the same physical room, but mentally transported to another time/place/character…. I will ante up the $75 when you get it in print…. and $75 for each volume thereafter. I am already spellbound/sucked in and loving it.

    • Yes, please send links. Getting people to my site is the first step. Getting people to the sample pages, a second important step. As for a physical copy, you aren’t alone in your preference for a physical copy; 70% of people still want a hard copy. Who can say when ANY new author will see print with the market what it is right now? Check out the FAQ’s “Why Electronic Publication?” section for more info on that. Probably won’t see many new authors in print for a few years. There’s just so little shelf space left. Might I recommend coming at reading an electronic novel with fresh eyes (so to speak?) Though it pains me to say it, try just a chapter or two at a time – that way you don’t get blurry eyes from the screen. Also, my particular layout is easy on the eyes. Sample pages should be a fine example of that. Appreciate the quality reply. : )
