Current Book in the Series and Upcoming Titles

This particular page is dedicated to progress.  Weekly updates can be found at the bottom.

You’re in the middle of one of the greatest series you’ve read and then get news the author has met an untimely death!  Epic fan’s worst nightmare.  I can understand a bit of trepidation when looking into a massive series in progress.  In a perfect world I could write it all and deliver it all at once.  Alas, I must make a living and support my family.  That means selling one book at a time.  The sooner I can become financially independent enough, I can devote all my time to writing.  (Which I’d really love to do.)   But does writing one book at a time lead to inconsistency?  Is there no middle ground?

Be at ease, my friends.   This story has its inception as far back as junior high (I’m 35, now.)  Not surprisingly, it’s expansive.  Considering the nature of the main character (a prophet) I’ve got to have all my ducks in a row, so to speak.  (A prophet is good for the reader, and the story… and, hopefully, profit!)  I’ve not only begun working on the next book, it’s outlined to the chapter (with a full paragraph description for each chapter) – so is the rest of this ten book series.  Also, many of the climactic scenes have been written.  Consistency within this world demands thorough planning.  Here’s each title (working title) and a short description of what’s going on with each book.

Series Title:  Generations of Legends

Books 1-5 cover the first generation of heroes.  Books 6 and 7, generation two.  Books 8 and 9 the third generation.  And book 10 – hold on to your hat.  (If you don’t have a hat, you better get a heavy one and strap it down…)

Book One: Time of the Awakening.  This book is complete, you can check out sample pages on this site, or find the version that’s best for you following this link.

Book Two: A Seal of Fire:  Book outline, complete.  Paragraph desc of each chapter, complete.  All the relevant, climactic scenes written.  Heavy in the details of book two.  Five of forty-seven chapters complete.  Writing pieces of chapters daily.  New Artwork in progress.

Book Three: The Great Xanax:  Book outline and paragraph desc of each chapter complete.  Many of the climactic scenes written.

Weekly Progress, Beginning early September:

Sept 1-15:  Server woes, web development issues, problems with the E-store and a compromised bank account (&^%&!!! hackers!) converged in late August/Early September.  I’m 2 weeks behind on the finished cover for Book 1.  Later today, back to the studio for said cover.  On a brighter note, I set up a twitter account and Facebook fan page as King Krylor.  Fans, have at it!  Will update the events calendar with my where-abouts when I know which B&N will host me next.

Sept 3rd Week:  Sweet success.  Finally nailed down the armor for the figure on Book 1.  Worked so nice in the color rough, thought it’d be cake.  But, as you might’ve read on other pages, these covers are inter-related, so the armor is picking up reflection from fires spanning books 2, 7 and 8.  Now that the armor is detailed, I think these covers will see ink real soon.  Again, fans, apologies for the delays – however, I’ll settle for giving you nothing but my best.  Good stuff coming soon.  Then I can get back to hacking away at the keyboard…

Sept starting into 4th week:  Author (blogger/book reviewer) Tracy Falbe recently interviewed me.  << click here.  Will repost on this site under author background, but leave you the link to the interview up front.  Take some time to visit her site for more than just my interview.  Still working at the F cover, B1.

October 2011:  Finished cover design late September, updated book cover in Nook/Kindle and on this Site.  Had quite a few new interested customers at B&N stores in Upper Arlington and Lennox.  Mostly good reviews from customers and a few mixed.  Glad to have the opportunity to write.  Finished The Summoning, which is a great place to get in touch with the cast from Book 1.  Currently working on B2.
